went for sso+song fei's concert ystd. went with xianyang and sat with junhong, harry and some payco zhonghu guy called shawn. met qinglun and jason on my way to esplanade.

the concert was okay, so-so. but i seriously dun quite like guo wenjing's composition. it's really rojak lorh, he uses almost every single technique of erhu in the entire song la! really nong qiao cheng zhuo. nonetheless, song fei's playing is still admirable.

during intermission, harry, junhong and shawn went to Q for song fei's autograph while i was still inside the concert hall, trying to psycho xianyang go with me. but he just refused to risk bumping into someone. which is wise, cos he'll prolly have stuffs to complain about after that. so i went down alone to look for harry, but i passed my booklet to junru and asked him help me get it signed. saw yuanyang Q-ing behind. OMG la! he looked soooo different, and he's much much much taller than i last saw him...

second half of the concert was quite nice. i tink The Miraculous Mandarin is damn nice. the conductor intro-ed it in a very interesting way. =]

after concert decided to go for dinner(supper?) with xianyang. so we walked to his aunty's workplace to collect his car and on the way, critising erhu concerto. anyways, he wanted to send me home and have dinner near my place, but SORRY XIANYANG, i know i very blur. duno which way to drive back from esplanade, so in the end, made a wrong turn and went all the way to dover. =X i seriously felt sooo guitly la! den when we got to kovan, he decided to go over to heartland mall to find food. but, 11+ liao, everywhere closed..and he was damn pissed that they even locked the toilets. lols, he kept complaining about how unfriendly kovan is, and i really feel so bad. he drove me all the way to kovan and had to walk around searching for food, and he was very tired from the run. anyways, somehow ended up at the punggol nasi lemak there and he ordered hokkien mee. promised to give him a treat, so, yeah. anyways, he drove me home la.

called xueqi after i got home. she taught me a lot in that conv. and really set me thinking. maybe i should really change my whole attitude towards music and start reflecting of what kind of music i want to present to others, and think about how to achieve it. perhaps im starting to go off-track. music is starting to give me a lot of stress, and i know i shouldn't be feeling this if i really love music. i shouldn't be thinking too much about whether to go pro or not. there's still time. im not even halfway thr my lifespan... and really, like what xueqi said, i shouldn't be envying or feeling jealous about those people at NAFA. if i have the determination, i can succeed.

after that, called harry and chatted till 3.30. he made me realised that people actually thinks more highly of me than i do of myself. and i really hope that whatever he said is true and not just trying to make me feel better.

i will continue to work hard and outshine the rest. im searching for my motivation and determination. "if you don't have expectations of yourself, how do you expect others to have high expectations from you."(direct translation qouted from xueqi qouted from samuel).

weeks since my last entry... stupid laptop broke down and bro refused to repair..

love my school. TJC RAWKS! and, it's infested with people from CCHMS, TKGS n AHS... gosh, there's only 3 zhrians! grr...

Orientation: BOND 007 (3/1 - 6/1)

was put in OG11, nyrah house. i was complaining full-time on day one of orientation. there was nobody i know and they seemed cold... but still, luckily there was Lubna and Aishah. they were REAL FRIENDLY! first day's event was quite boring, mainly cos we still duno each other well....

orientation day 2 was much much much better. we got along very well by then and OG11A got the highest score for amazing race! love my OG, really. all the fun loving people, and the crazy people, and the enthu people, and the loud people. =]

orientation day 3 was dirty games with water, flour and everything... den there was MASS DANCE @ SUNTEC! gosh, that was damn fun! we danced and danced till it rained, but we dint get to complete the last dance :( nvm. we ran round the fountain of wealth, going crazy, screaming, laughing, and getting WET. we were totally drenched by the time we went down to the basement. and the most disgusting thing is that the rain stopped even b4 we finished collecting our belongings... damnit. we still went home after that nonetheless. and i was alrdy sneezing like mad by the time i got in the MRT... and fyi, im still sick after a week. so moral of the story is: never run in the rain and go to a place with air-con, you're gonna suffer BIG TIME.

orientation day 4 was O NIGHT! our OG's item was chosen out of the other 4 OGs in Nyrah! wah, touched... we went to school early to prac for the night's event. we worked together and joked together... our OG was really bonded den... all the stupid, funny, hilarious ideas contributed by each and everyone, the help from all the OGLs and the teamwork we displayed... TOUCHING~ lols. anyways, we tied with DGSK for the performance, but nvm, WE WON THE BEST HOUSE FOR ENTIRE ORIENTATION! it was an ultra HIGH night for everyone of us. with the band jamming at the end, the people jumping, dancing, screaming... whoa. =] we went for supper at mac's after that, and den farewell to orientation....

i seriously wana thank OG11 and all the OGLs for being such great friends.. OG11 sio sia!!! OH, must specially thank joyce for being such a wonderful person to be with, u're so high, so full of energy, and so enthu!

now, enough with the orientation fever...

tuesday was BORING. temp timetable and i only had ONE LECTURE for the entire day, and there was CO that day. i basically had almost 8 hrs of break in total...sickening, but had a good slp in co rm. hauyee came over to TJCO to borrow zhonghu for TPCO concert. he was supposed to bring me the tix to the concert but he FORGOT. and i was soooo touched that xianyang drove over just to pass me the tix. wah, THANKS!

went back zhonghua specially to find zhang bin. ponned the stupid house dialogue.. saw ktan, had a nice 'chat' with him, and he gave a shocking news that ELIM'S RETIRING! gosh, sumur on v-day la! met minshian and talked for quite some time. OH, forgot to mention, i love zhonghua's toilets! so damn clean la!

OG11 dinner + pool. we met at dhoby ghaut mrt station and decided to go pizzahut for dinner. imagine booking for 28 people..... whao~ so we had to go walk walk arnd first. and we decided on carrefour(however u spell that)... den went for dinner and made hell of a noise there, but heck. there was eating competition between kangyu and randy.

RANDY: 7 slices of pizza, 1 soup, 2 chicken drumlets, 2 potato nuggets, 1 seafood ring.

KANGYU:7 slices of pizza, 2 soups, 1.5 pepsi, 1 chicken drumlet, 1 potato nugget, 1 seafood ring.

in the end, kangyu surrendered. damn funny la! & randy's crowned the champ!

den we decided to go for pool. went paradigm but the Q's ridiculous so we walked to monstercue instead. it was full too when we got there, so darren left his number there and we sat outside the hotel, chatting... we finally got to play pool but, 20+ people to one table =.= darren booked only ONE TABLE. by the time we got the second table, it was after 2230... went home with swee liang and darren after that, they live in hougang! crazy, to think that there's actuali people crazy like me, travel so far everyday...

TPCO Concert. went to support xianyang and hauyee. saw many people there, those hlm people and tj people... i tink more than half the performers are guest players la! and fukang was DAMN SICKENING. he and that stupid kaiwen kept bullying me la. i dint just pay $10 to see him ok. NONSENSE. lols. anyways, xianyang screwed up a little, and he keep complaining that he wasnt good... nvm la, it's over so dun tink too much... btw, he actually sold 60 TICKETS! crazy.

anyways, now im in CG 03/07. the CG with only 5 gals and loads of fun people. swee liang transfered out to another cg..duno why. and now sikai said he's leaving. damnit. y cant fun people just stay and stick together?! nonetheless, I LOVE MY CG! shall elaborate another time. this entry's getting too lengthy.
